Seekers:Smoke Mountain

The book I just finished reading was the third book in the Seekers series. It is about four different bears. Toklo, a brown bear, Ujurack, another brown bear, Lusa, a black bear, and Kallik, a polar bear. They are all trying to reach The Last Great Wilderness. During their journey, Kallik finally finds her brother, Taqqiq. However, he decides to head back to the Melting Sea. One of their obstacles is that they have to pass Smoke Mountain. They were only half way up the mountain and were very short on prey. Then things got worse. They had to cross a flat-face construction site!( flat-faces are humans) They were almost all the way across when Luusa got run over by a huge firebeast!(firebeasts are cars, however she got ran over by a bulldozer) Thinking fast Toklo scooped her on to his back. They ran and ran until they saw a cave and they decided to stay there while Lusa got better. After she healed most of the way they started traveling more. Then they got attacked by flat-face hunters. They captured Toklo, but while they were going back to their camp their firebeast tumbled off the cliff with Toklo in it! Luckily Toklo got free of the net he was in ,but he couldn't get out of the firebeast. Lusa quickly went out and helped him. He got free. Once they got to shore Lusa saw a flat-face stuck in the water. She went out to save it, although with the slight difficulty of it kicking her because it thought it was going to hurt him, Lusa freed him. After travleing a little longer, they finally reached The Last Great Wilderness.
